Marriage can be hard and feel like an uphill struggle a lot of the time. Amid our busy lives, it’s important to work at our marriages, putting in whatever limited time you have to build trust, love and intimacy. A daily dialogue is a communication tool that helps couples to express themselves without fear of recrimination, insult or offense. By telling your partner about something that’s bothering you and through them confirming that they understand how this is making you think, feel and want to take action, you are growing understanding and trust. And love follows trust. In counselling, I help clients use this dialogue tool, which in turn helps them enhance their marriage relationship. It helps and it works!
